Celebrating the playful and cute color – Pink

You know that the tiny tots at Presidency Kids are celebrating a colour when they are all dressed brightly with bigger than usual smiles adorning their faces!

These were the scenes on February 15 and 16, 2019 when children from playgroup and nursery celebrated the cute and playful colour of them all – pink!

As is our tradition when it comes to celebrating colours, all our children came to school dressed in pink and cackled as they engaged in themed activities. Their common area was decorated with multiple cut-outs of pink-coloured objects. All classrooms and corridors were also vibrant with pink balloons and other decorations.

The teachers participated by dressing up in pink as well and by displaying many objects that are pink so that children learn to identify it. One of the activities was lacing, which every child enjoyed to the fullest. At the end of the activity, all kids had made beautiful lockets and took them home as decorative items. They wanted the fun to continue but alas!

The main aim of the activity was to help children learn how to identify the colour pink. Teachers explained its significance as well, talking about how it resonates with kindness, beauty, love, and playfulness. When the teachers told them that mixing the colours red and white gives pink, all children were enthralled! They could not believe it!

Pink colour day at Presidency Kids was full of fun and learning, just like the colour itself. We are extremely glad it was a success and we have multiple such activities in the pipeline for our little ones.
